Vehicle Hire Agreement

The Seller agrees to sell and the Buyer agrees to buy the following motor vehicle: 2016 Toyota Fielder, registration number KDA 123A, chassis/VIN number NZE161-0012345, colour Silver.

The odometer reading at the time of sale is 128,400 km.

The agreed purchase price is KSh 1,200,000.

A deposit of KSh 300,000 has been paid by the Buyer to the Seller, receipt of which the Seller acknowledges.

The balance of KSh 900,000 shall be paid on or before 5 October 2026.

Payment shall be made by M-Pesa.

The Seller confirms that the vehicle is the Seller's own property, is free from any loan, charge, lien or other encumbrance, and that the Seller has full authority to sell it.

The Seller shall sign all documents required to transfer ownership to the Buyer through the NTSA transport integrated management system on or before 10 October 2026.

The vehicle is sold in the following condition: Sold as seen. Minor scratch on the rear bumper..

The Buyer confirms having inspected the vehicle, or having had the opportunity to inspect it, and accepts it in its current condition.

The vehicle shall be handed over to the Buyer on 5 October 2026 at Nairobi CBD.

The following items are handed over with the vehicle: 2 keys, spare wheel, jack.

Risk in the vehicle, including responsibility for insurance, parking, traffic offences and fines, passes to the Buyer on handover.

This document contains the entire agreement between the parties on this matter and replaces any earlier spoken or written understanding.
